Water World

If you’re visiting during the summer months, the Denver heat can be brutal so what better way to cool off than visiting a water park? Water World is one of the most popular water parks in Denver. There are over 50 attractions throughout the massive 70 acre park including plenty of grass areas which are perfect for a family picnic. Don’t forget your towel and sunscreen!

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater

Renowned as one of the most beautiful amphitheaters in the world, Red Rocks is a must while in Denver. Located only 30 minutes away from Downtown Denver, families can enjoy the great outdoors while learning about the geologically-formed amphitheater. There is even a museum focused on the history of the local plants and animals in the area as well as another museum, inside, that covers the incredible history of musicians who have performed at Red Rocks.
